The family of Vic Brooks will celebrate his life of 64 years at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. His family will host a reception immediately following the service at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He passed on Sunday, December 12, 2021. On May 28, 1957, Vic was born to Doyle and Wanda Brooks in Lubbock, TX. He married Laurie Pevehouse on January 29, 1986, in Ruidoso, NM.
Vic, a jack of many trades, spent his early days working in the oilfield and went on to own a few businesses ranging from roofing to irrigation/farm supply. Vic made many special friendships with employees & customers over the years. Many held a special place in his heart.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Brooks; their children, Taylor Shellman, Stephanie Brooks; his mother, Wanda Brooks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Brooks; son, Joshua Brooks.
