Venoy was born May 21, 1926, in Altus, Oklahoma to L. C. and Eunice Allen, he was the second of six children. Venoy served his country during the Korean Conflict before starting his career of over 35 years in Civil Service at Reese Air Force Base.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents, L. C. and Eunice, his brothers, Troy, Jimmy, and Billy, and sisters, Jean Mitchell and Catherine Hucks.

Loved ones include daughters, Mary Ann Dodd of Van Buren, Arkansas, Gayle and husband Jerry Severe of Lubbock, and son, Larry and wife Debbie Allen of Lubbock. Venoy is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Venoy loved his family, and they loved him.
