Truett Tyler

Truett Tyler passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 91 years on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church of Lubbock.Truett was born on February 21, 1926, to Clinton and Edna Tyler in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from O’Donnell High School and Texas Tech University, after which he spent many years with various industrial manufacturers and in management consulting. He was also a leader in his sons’ Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leah Tyler; sister, Latonne; and three brothers, Paul Ray, R. L., and Ira Graham Tyler.Truett is survived by his sons, Jeff, Michael, and Dan and families; grandchildren Lyle and Mason Tyler, Lauren and Kristen Tyler, and families, all of southern California.
