Tommy D. Johnston, 59, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away, Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at University Medical Center.Tommy D. Johnston was born on October 26, 1960, in Lubbock, TX to Byron Johnston and Gladys (Talent) Cox. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1978. On June 13, 1986 he married Kimberly Favre in Lubbock, Texas. Tommy was employed at Pollard, University Medical Center Emergency Services Fleet Service for several years, and was working at Walmart as a cashier at the time of his death. His favorite past times were fishing and spending time with his family.Tommy is survived by his daughter, Victoria Johnston; and three brothers, Jimmy Johnston, Curtis Beasley, and Roger BeasleyHe was preceded in death by his father, Byron Johnston; and mother, Gladys Cox, and grandparents.Celebration of Life Services will be announced later.
