Tomas Longoria

Tomas Longoria Jr, 57, of Lubbock, Texas passed peacefully Saturday, October 20th, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born August 24th, 1961, in McAllen, Texas, he was the son of the late Tomas Longoria Sr and Rosa Muniz Longoria.

Tomas was a truck driver of 27 years for Acme Brick, and he made it known he enjoyed every bit of being a part of that company and accomplishing his dream to travel and drive a semi. In his spare time, he loved to have cookouts, spending time with his grandchildren and children. Even when he was not himself, he always made sure to make everyone feel welcomed.

His former wife and friend survive Tomas; Mary Sanchez, by his loving children; Monique and Chris Garcia, Amanda and Andrew Mendez, Amber and Randy Torres, all of Lubbock, Texas; eleven grandchildren; Ciara, Xavier, Cieana, Ayvien, Josiah, Zariah, Jacob, Brooklyn, Tristynn, Caisen, and an expecting grandbaby April 8th, 2019; and a great-grandchild, Anthony Angel.

Although our world took an unexpected turn, his daughters are thankful to have lived such a happy life with him. Tomas taught many of us life lessons that we will hold in our hearts forever. May he rest easy and peacefully.
