With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tammi Kay Stockton on December 5, 2024, at the age of 47, following a prolonged illness. Tammi was born in Abilene, Texas, on August 12, 1977. She was a graduate of Monterey High School and the University of Phoenix, and dedicated over two decades of her career to BFS. A loving mother and grandmother, Tammi cherished her roles as “Mom” and “Yaya” to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Averi and husband Jonathan Garcia; daughter Micah; son Aiden; grandchildren Jovani and Javan Garcia; mother Deidra Griffin; sister Kristin Willis; and niece Kaitlyn and husband Jonathan Blazquez. She was predeceased by her father, Timothy Griffin.

My sister, I love you so very much. I will miss picking on you, making you mad at me, the sound of your cane and walker, and watching you park cars with your grand babies. I take comfort in knowing you are no longer hurting, you are no longer suffering and that you will be with us every day in our hearts. I will make sure your babies are taken care of and that they know how much their Yaya loved them. I will never break that promise. I love you. Krissy

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my daughter. The obituary is wrong. I am her biological father. Tim Griffin was her stepfather. I am hurt by being left out of the obituary, and I just want everyone to know that I deeply loved and will miss my daughter.
