The acts of love and service in support of Susan, Mark and their family in her final days are a testament to how much she meant to so many people. Susan’s greatest legacy is her family, and she would be quick to tell you that they were her greatest joy. Susan and Mark were blessed later in life by their son, Jacob Zouzalik, who ushered in a wonderful Second Act for Susan. In recent days, she shared countless hours with her sister and best friend, Kris, who traveling to Lubbock each week to bring her comfort.
Some of Susan’s fondest memories were traveling with Mark to Houston and Austin to eagerly await the arrival of their grandbabies. As she navigated her treatment, the Lord took Susan back to Houston, where she was held tight by the blessing of family and able to spend joyful days with her daughter, Sarah, and her four children.
Susan’s family grew to include eight beloved grandchildren: Henry Weddige, Ellis Weddige, Olivia Frazier, Wyatt Frazier, Bowen Frazier, Millie Frazier, Grayson Munsch and Amelia Zouzalik.
