Susan Jenelle Stanford, 55, of Wolfforth, TX ran into the loving arms of Jesus on March 22, 2024, surrounded by her husband, Brad and her children, Garrett and Katie Stanford. Susan was born on September 3,1968 to Joe and Jeannie McCraw in Lovington, NM.

Susan graduated from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in 1992 and moved to Dallas where she met the love of her life, Brad, in 1993. They married on October 15,1994 in Lovington, NM.

Brad and Susan lovingly welcomed their son Garrett in Midland, TX in 1998 followed by their daughter Katie in Albuquerque, NM in 2001. The family moved to Wolfforth in 2002 where they currently reside.

Susan treasured her faith and her family above all. Her favorite memories were made while traveling the world, having adventures, and celebrating life with her family. She was known for her beautiful smile and her kind heart, and she reflected the love of Christ to everyone she met.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband Brad Stanford, son Garrett Stanford, daughter Katie Stanford, her parents Joe and Jeannie McCraw, and siblings Allyson Roberts, Andrew McCraw, and Robin Broom.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence and Marjorie Wallace, Carl and Janice McCraw, and her aunt Pam Pruit.

I will always remember Susan by her amazing smile and laughter, I am glad you are no longer suffering and are watching over all of us with the Creator! My deep condolences to Susan’s family and friends.

Susan grew up in my home town; and I watched her from afar. There was nothing not to like about Susan.! . She had the sweetest demeanor and personality. I loved her without really knowing her well. I loved her mother and dad; and knew them since childhood. I thought that they did an excellent job of raising Susan and her siblings. ! They are all to be greatly admired!! My heart-felt prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow . I am sure that Susan has a special place in God's kingdom this very hour ., and if in nothing else, you can find peace in knowing this. I am so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. She was one of the very nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to know and work with. She will be dearly missed.

Susan was such a treasure on Earth! I was blessed to know her from a very young age tap dancing at her Aunt Pam Pruitt’s dance studio! I have such fond memories of Susan growing up throughout HS, and loved running into her, catching up in 15 minute increments as we grew older! She loved life to the fullest, loved her family and was a great friend to many! Her smile and laugh was infectious! To the Stanford and McCraw families, my sincere condolences! Susan and I went through breast cancer together in 2009. She was always so positive. My favorite memory of her was the awesome boxing photos that were taken for the bus! She lit up every room she ever entered. I have loved following her on Facebook. Keep her memory alive. She was definitely a beautiful, wonderful, child of God.

Susan was one of a kind and will be deeply missed! We love you all and pray you feel Gods peace and comfort during this time.

I was so sorry to hear about Susan’s passing. She was the sweetest, kindest person. She helped me so much when I was diagnosed with cancer. She will truly be missed. Hugs and prayers for her family. 💕

Katie and Garrett. Your mother has left a beautiful lasting impression on me and our family. When our mother was going through chemo she reached out to her and gave her prayer, offered guidance and gave her the most beautiful blanket that my mother (also known as Nana) cherished. She is now in heaven and our father (Poppy) still holds on to that same blanket. We are so grateful for the love, encouragement and strength she showed, and gave our mother. Our prayers and love with you.

Susie was such a gentle soul that the Lord wanted her in His choir. Brad and the kids - although I only met Susie a few times, she was unforgettable in her joy as a wife and mother and child of God. We joy that she will not prolong in the pain of this life but experience the peace that passes all understanding. Prayers to all the family at this time of mourning.
