Susan Dawn English was born on April 26, 1959, to John Dempsey and Marilyn Doucette in Miami, FL. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she developed a love for ballet, fashion, and music. She loved the rain, the ocean, and the color orange. She was someone who always treated people with a smile. As well as someone who persevered no matter what obstacle she faced.

Susan listened to her music loud, drank her coffee sweet, and never turned down a conversation.

Susan was a daughter, a niece, a fine mother, and most of all an exceptional grandmother.

Susan is survived by her son, Dillon James English; grandchildren, Liam J. English, and Angelina M. “Lina” English; uncle, James E. “Jim” (Denise M.) Doucette; and cousins, James (Tracy) Doucette, Bernard (Ann Marie) Doucette, and Patrick (Iris) Doucette.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a cousin, Marie L. Doucette.
