Steven Dean Keith was born June 12, 1951, to the late Frankie Dean and Martha Frances (Johnston) Keith in Comanche, TX. Steve graduated from Monterey High School in 1969. He then attended Texas Tech University. He was formerly married to Sandy Knight and had three children. He married Sandra Rucker on April 22, 1991, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. For the last 30 years he was the owner of Keith Services. Since retiring, his interests turned towards creating unique crafts and personalized novelties. When he set his mind to something, he stayed with it until it was finished. There was no idea or vision too big for him. He had many interests and talents, with the knowledge and skill for anything. He was a natural leader who was respected and loved by those in his life. Anything San wanted or dreamed about; he made it happen.
Steve is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Sandra Keith; children, Todd Keith and wife Angie, Bill Keith and wife Jocelyn, Amanda White and husband Ted, Sonya Rucker, and Sanae Allison and husband Kyle; grandchildren, Shandi, Shayli, Chelsi, Kale, Stoney, Landon, Kolby, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Mason, Matthew, Issaic, Hannah, Kynlee, and Keltey; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Koonce and husband Rick; and brother, Rick Keith and wife Darlene.
