Sheryl Lynn Bratton

September 29, 1947 - July 12, 2018

Sheryl Lynn Bratton passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 7 pm to 9 pm Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 70 years on Monday, July 16, 2018, at 10 am at Lake Ridge Chapel, followed by committal in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Sheryl was born on September 29, 1947 to the late Douglas and Theda (Wyatt) Hill in Levelland, Texas, and graduated from Levelland High School in 1965. She married Virgil Bratton in Lubbock, Texas on April 29, 1977.  Sheryl enjoyed painting from a young age. She loved decorating the house and especially loved decorating for the holidays. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil Bratton; son, Aaron Bratton of Lubbock; daughter, Jennifer Bratton and son-in-law Christopher Crumley of Lubbock; and two brothers, Melvin Hill and wife Marsha as well as Don Hill and wife Reneé all of Levelland.
