Sharron was born on January 3, 1950 to Calvin and Peggy Kent Baker in Littlefield, Texas. On August 8, 1975, Sharron married the love of her life, Billy Wood at First United Methodist Church in Sudan, Texas. She graduated from San Angelo State University and spent 36 years teaching.Survivors include her husband, Billy Wood; their children, Crystal Wood; Marlea Jeter her husband Ryan and soon to be Grandson Reece; and Candice Martin; as well as her mother, Peggy Baker. She is also survived by her siblings, Sheila Nations and husband, Tom; Jeanne Provence and husband, Damon; and Corley Baker and wife, Susan.
Her father, Calvin Baker, preceded her in death.
