Senalda “Syndy” Riojas

Syndy joined her husband Orlando on their eternal journey in the early hours of Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Senalda “Syndy” was born January 29, 1965, to Maria Gloria Riojas and Manuel Trevino in Weslaco, Texas. She was raised in Lubbock, Texas where she gave birth to and raised all 4 of her children who blessed her with 10 grandchildren whom she loved immensely. She shared 35 blissful years with her husband Orlando till his passing in October of 2020. Syndy was a free spirit and loved life. She never met a stranger and was the life of the party. Her laugh was electric, and she had a huge personality.

Syndy is survived by her mother, Maria Gloria Riojas; her children, Maria Christina Perez, JoAnn LaFawn Arausa, Jose Demetrio Arausa Jr., and Rosalinda Nicole Jardon; her siblings, Belinda Riojas, Margarita Riojas, David Riojas; and 10 grandchildren, Raeleigh, Jordan, Jayce, Danielle, Aiden, Lincoln, Xzavior, Adelina Grace, Jeremiah and Lucas Orlando, and her faithful dog Baby.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Orlando Jardon.
