Dearest Gib and family, Jon and I are so very saddened to learn of Sarah’s passing. We remember all our supper club gatherings in Greenville and treasure our fond memories of food, fellowship, and laughter….always teasing about “keeping” Gib awake during our dessert time! You did have a great excuse because you would get up @ 5am to walk the dogs if I remember correctly;) I also remember our last supper club gathering @ your home the nite before your move to Lubbock around Christmastime. I know you and Sarah were planning an open house for your friends in Lubbock after you arrived! I was always amazed @ Sarah’s organizational skills and planning. Sarah was so beautiful inside and out and you and she made the perfect pair. We send our love, prayers, and sincere condolences during this deep time of sorrow. We also know Sarah is rejoicing with Jesus and we will see her again one day! Marcy and Jon Brown

Gib & family I’m so sorry for your loss. Sarah will be missed, I remember when I was in Community Bible Study with her. What a precious “woman of GOD.” May GOD comfort you today is my prayer. 🙏

My condolences to Gib and the family. Gib, you always represented Texas Tech well at all the conventions you attended. However, Sarah brought an incredible class to the Texas Tech booth. What a special lady ! Again, my condolences. Fred Weaver

My heart is broken. I am missing beautiful Sarah, and trying to find the words to express what she meant to me is so hard. Not only was she such a living example of her Christian faith, she shared that joy wherever she was. Staying at the Weaver cabin during retreats was such a pleasure over the years because Sarah made us feel so welcome. Having lunch with Sarah just two weeks ago is a memory I will cherish. Gib, we love you. Peggy and David
