Sandra Rae McQueen Bullard, age 77, of Levelland, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, after a lengthy illness. Sandra was born on May 31, 1944, in Ballinger, Texas, to Daniel Jackson and Mary Alice Rae McQueen. She grew up in Sweetwater, Texas, and attended Newman High School. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church of Sweetwater, where she made her profession of faith and was baptized as an adolescent.Upon completion of her studies, she married Charles Roy Nations. From their union came the birth of their two sons, Danny Rae Nations and Charles Bradley Nations. After traveling with the US Navy, the couple settled in Lubbock, Texas.In 1982, Sandra met and married Virgil Leo Bullard, and the two of them settled in Levelland, Texas where Leo owned Bullard Heating and Air, and Sandra managed Sunland Village Apartments and a number of other rental properties in the area.Sandra is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Mary McQueen, her husband, Leo Bullard, and her son Danny Nations.Sandra is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, and two grandsons, Brad and Stephanie Nations, and Troy and Colby, of Lubbock. Additionally, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Roberta McQueen, of Lubbock, and her sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Barry Bradley, of Orange, Texas. Sandra was loved dearly by two nieces and two nephews, Clarissa McQueen Bell, Tara McQueen, Jeffrey Bradley, and Jonathan Bradley, as well as a host of extended family members. Especially dear to her heart was her companion of the last four years, her four-year-old Shih Tzu, Zoey Grace.Visitation for Sandra will be held on Friday, January 21, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Lake Ridge Memorial, 6025 82nd Street, Lubbock, Texas. A private graveside memorial service will be held at the Talpa, Texas Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, January 22nd.
