Sandra G. Reyna, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on July 10, 1950, in Roswell, New Mexico, to her loving parents, Ramon and Juanita (Navarrette) Gamboa.
Sandra worked in administration for both the San Angelo and Lubbock school systems. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed a multitude of trips both near and far with her family and many friends she also considered her family. She really enjoyed her retirement and spent time in Eagle Pass as a volunteer teacher, teaching all ages crochet and her former students adored her! Her family and friends were her whole life, and she was so giving with both her love and adoration as well as anything we needed.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Reyna; her loving children, Samuel (Jamie) Prieto, Anna (Marc) Castiglione, Jay Reyna, and Vanessa Garcia; her cherished grandchildren, Leandra LaBadie, Jabren Reyna, Zachary Reyna, Zeke Garcia, and Gianna Castiglione; her adored brother, Raymond Gamboa; and her beloved sisters, Cuca Gamboa and Pauline Gamboa.
She is preceded by her parents, Ramon and Juanita Gamboa; brothers, Alfonso Gamboa and Julio Gamboa; and sisters, Nancy Garcia and Mary Piseno.
Sandra Mae Reyna will forever be remembered for her unwavering dedication, immense love for her family, and her tireless spirit. Her memory will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.
In remembrance of Sandra’s remarkable life, a Rosary will be held at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers on February 4, 2024, at 5:00 pm, allowing friends and family to honor her memory. Prior to the Rosary, a visitation will take place from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, providing an opportunity for loved ones to offer their condolences.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lake Ridge Chapel on February 5, 2024, at 10:00 am, where Sandra’s legacy will be celebrated through heartfelt eulogies and cherished memories.
