Robert Earl Densford Sr., “Bob”, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on June 10, 1938, in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Raymond Edward and Helen Arlene (Walker) Densford. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central State College.
Bob will forever be remembered for his passion for fishing and his remarkable skills in wood working. He found solace in casting lines on peaceful, sun-kissed lakes in Mexico and found joy in creating beautiful pieces from raw lumber in his beloved workshop. Whether sharing his fishing tales or showcasing his woodworking creations, Bob’s enthusiasm was contagious and brought joy to all those fortunate enough to be in his presence.
As the owner and operator of Trailer Marketing, a thriving trailer equipment business, Bob’s dedication and strong work ethic were evident in everything he did. He was known for his integrity, professionalism, and commitment to providing exceptional service to his valued customers.
Bob’s deep-rooted love and unwavering commitment to his family were truly inspiring. He leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Densford, who stood by his side through life’s ups and downs, offering unwavering support and love. Bob will forever be remembered as a devoted father to his sons Robert Earl Densford Jr.” Bobby” and wife Robin, Ronald Kent Densford “Ron”, and Darren John Densford and wife Lori, each of whom he instilled with values of hard work, kindness, and compassion. His grandchildren, Alexandra Robertson and husband Jason, Mitchell Densford, and wife Allyssa, Brayson Dorman, and Hannah Densford and fiancé Austin Burgess brought immense joy to his life, and his great-grandchild Laityn Bartley filled his heart with immense pride. Bob’s sister, Deanne Wyatt, held a special place in his heart.
Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Tracie Densford.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 10:30 am at Calvary Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Bob and honor his remarkable life.
Because of Bob’s love for his church, where he served as a deacon for many years his family suggests memorial donations to Calvary Baptist Church, 5301 82nd Street, Lubbock, Texas 79424 in his memory.
