Donna, this is Butch Seay. I was a member of Calvary BC from about 1971-1974. I met Melva Asberry there and we married in 1973. She passed away in June 2018. I've been living in Franklin, TN for 40 years and retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board. I well remember you and Bob, so I am saddened to hear of his passing. But we know now where he is and can celebrate his home going with great joy. I will be praying for you as you make adjustments in your life. Blessings to you and your family.

Lane and I are so sorry for your loss. We love Bob (and Donna) dearly. They were our favorite Bible teachers of all time. I’m sad we won’t be at the funeral…we are moving Mom on 2/9. She sends her love too. We are praying for all of you during this time. Love you all

We are sorry to hear about Bob. We are happy and sad at the same time. Happy for him and sad for us. You were both so special to us and such good models of what a strong Christian marriage should be. Love from Jimmy and Debby Howell.

Uncle Bob was soft-spoken, kind, funny and a good listener. He was talented and I alway thought he could make anything. I treasure the wooden cross that hangs in our living room. He made it from driftwood and it has a both and smooth parts. It depicts the hard, brutal aspect of Jesus’ death on the cross and the beauty of his gift of his life to pay our penalty. Jesus’ gracious gift made all the difference in Uncle Bob’ s life and he impacted countless other lives with his love, prayers and teaching. He will be missed but because of Jesus I know where Bob is and that I will see him again. All my love to Aunt Donna and all of his precious family.
