Rebecca was born on Feb. 22, 1948, to Johnnie and Marie Baxter in Floydada, Texas. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 49 years, Ricky Burns; Daughter, Amy Burns-Copeland and grandchildren, Trent, Blake and Ashlyn; Son, Ryan Burns and wife Jordan and grandchildren, Leah and Matthew; her sister, Gail White; beloved mother-in-law, Loretta Burns, three sisters-in-law and their husbands, Sherry & Clifford Hacker, Rhonda & Larry Guthrie and Sheryl Earnest Back; many loved nieces, nephews and friends, and her special care-giver and friend, Effie Polk. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Judy Bollman, and brothers-in-law Wiley Bollman and Larry White. Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 3305 101st St. Suite 100, Lubbock, TX 79423.
