Rebecca Gonzales was born on March 29, 1940, to Manuel and Prima Macias Arguijo in Hubbard, Texas, she was one of fourteen children. On November 24, 1953, Rebecca married the love of her life, Eusebio “Pete” Gonzales in Munday, Texas. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Rebecca as a profession was a bright and cheerful companion and care giver to the elderly. She was a member of the Hispanic United Methodist Church and was a lay leader to the women of the Rio Grande conference. She loved to travel and serve the Lord in this service.
Survivors include her husband, Eusebio “Pete” Gonzales; children, Pete Gonzales and wife, Betty, Rose Marie Gonzales Chivers and husband, Robert, and Sonny Gonzales and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Jennifer Gonzales and partner, Freddy Sierra, John August Miller, III, Laly Evans and husband, Luke, Josiah Gonzales, Meagan Gonzales, and Gunner Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Gonzales, Jaden Gonzales, Analyse Gonzales, and Liam Nicholas Evans; great-great-grandson, Jeramyah Gonzales; siblings, Febe A. White, Eunice Arguijo Alexander, Ruth A. Garza, Sarah A. Bryant, Benjamin M. Arguijo, and Victor M. Arguijo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Prima Arguijo; siblings, Manuel M. Arguijo, II, Estefana A. Holmes, Rachael A. White, Daniel M. Arguijo, Eliud M. Arguijo, Eleazar M. Arguijo, and Manuel M. Arguijo, Jr.
