Obituary
The family of Reba Jordan will celebrate her life of 90 years at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Meadow First Baptist Church, with a committal service one hour prior in the Meadow Cemetery. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 05, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Friday, December 3, 2021. On February 8, 1931, Reba Doris was born to Sidney and Inez (Leverett) Price in Ralls, Texas. Reba’s parents moved to Ropesville, Texas, where she graduated from high school. She married Edward Jordan on December 22, 1945. They celebrated 72 years of marriage before his passing on August 22, 2017. Reba and Edward lived and farmed in the Meadow community from 1945-2017. They then moved to Raider Ranch in Lubbock. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Meadow. Reba served many years as secretary to the Meadow Elementary principal and superintendent. She also worked at the Brownfield Credit Union. She has resided at Fountain Hills Assisted Living for the past four years.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Conrad) Vernon, Loyd (Leslie) Jordan; grandchildren, Conrad, IV (Laura) Vernon, Cheyne (Kim) Vernon, Casey (Jon) Nickowski, J.J. (Lulu) Vernon, Shannon (Sean) Low, Dustin (Laura) Jordan, April (Ladd) Winn; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jehue (Sharon) Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Inez Price; and her husband, Edward Jordan.
