Randall (Randy) Lyle Alexander, 68, of Lubbock, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2024.

He was born August 6, 1955, in Plainview, Texas, to Edwin Dempsey and Thelma A. Alexander. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Alexander in Hereford, Texas, on June 18, 1989.

Randy worked for Brandon & Clark for over 30 years before retiring. He loved his family very much. He was a fan of Texas Tech Athletics and the Texas Rangers, loved nature, and never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Nolan Sutton.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife; his son Brandon Alexander and wife Megan of Tonganoxie, Kansas; bonus son, Jason Jesko of Canyon, Texas; bonus daughters, Laura Bownds and husband Andrew of Amarillo, Texas and Stephanie Siegismund and husband Jeff of Round Rock, Texas; two brothers, Rocky Alexander of Georgetown, Texas, and Rowan Alexander of Spring Branch, Texas. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a time of gathering for friends and family on Monday, March 18th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A service to celebrate his life will be Tuesday, March 19th, at 10:00 am at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.

Uncle Randy always welcomed me with a warm smile and a hug. He often had a fiery twinkle in his eye and could tease, challenge, and contemplate in the same conversation. I always looked forward to seeing him, and I appreciated how he kept in touch when our paths didn’t cross as often. I felt loved by Uncle Randy, and I appreciated the love he also showed my husband Jason and my girls. I treasure my memories of him.
