The family of Ramiro Talamantez will gather to recite the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Mass will be celebrated in honor of Ramiro’s life of 84 years at 10 am on Friday, September 3, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lubbock, Texas. Talamantez was born on May 15, 1937, in Del Rio, Texas to the parentage of Jose and Luisa Talamantez.Ramiro is preceded in death by his wife, Elida Flores, one daughter Linda Tanguma, two sons, Moses Flores and Armando Flores, two brothers, Ernesto Talamantez.He is survived by his daughter, Louise Martinez, ten sons, Arnold Flores, Albert Flores, Isaiah Flores, Davi Talamantez, Ramiro Talamantez, Jr. Robert Talamantez, Edward Talamantez, twenty-five grandkids, fourteen great-grandkids, and six great-great grandkids, and his beloved do, Spuddy Talamantez. Ramiro is also survived by his four sisters, Alicia Almaguer of San Sabas, Texas, Edelmira Martinez, Amelia DelaRosa, Elida Zapata all of San Angelo, Texas, one brother, Mario Talamantez of San Angelo, Texas.Ramiro passed on August 30, 2021.
