On June 5, 1969, a blue-eyed baby boy drew his first breath in El Reno, Oklahoma. This bouncy baby boy grew up known as Phillip Truman Brown Jr. Or T-man by his close friends. The Brown family continued to grow, and Truman would end up being the oldest of five boys.
The family moved to Lubbock, Texas. This is where Truman attended school. He played football and in 1987 he graduated from Lubbock High School. Truman became a painter for his dad while in high school and after graduation pursued a career as a Journeyman Electrician.
When Truman was not working, he loved to play drums, ride motorcycles, collect knives, and work out!
On a beautiful fall day, September 14, 2013, to be exact Truman married his soulmate, Dana. In this union, Truman gained two sons Jason, and Tylar, and a daughter Branda whom he called his “baby girl”. His love for his family would never waiver through all the ups and downs that life can bring. Truman became the all-star Papaw as he was blessed with five grandsons. Papaw adored these boys and time spent with them was never enough.
As a child, Truman had given his life to the Lord but decided in 2020 that he truly accepted the Lord as his Father and friend. When Truman did this his heart craved to worship the Lord our God. He attended and served at The Worship Center for three years. This led to Truman being a part of the Heart of the Matter ministry helping heal broken hearts through our Father, and the worship team for Live Free Indeed Ministry playing the Cajon and singing. To watch Truman worship his Lord was an amazing sight to see. It was in 2013 that Truman made the decision to start his own business TJ’s Home Improvements which actually stood for Truman and Jesus!!
Saturday, April 15, 2023, on a warm spring evening, T-Man was riding his motorcycle when he flew into the arms of his Lord and Savior. His father Phillip Truman Brown Sr and granddaughter Emma Brown were there to welcome Phillip Truman Brown Jr. as he entered into his eternal life in heaven.
Truman along with his Lord and Savior will continue to prepare a place for his loved ones:
Loving wife Dana Brown; mother Linda Brown; two sons Jason and Tylar, and daughter Branda. His four brothers; Robin, Billy, Ricky, and Darren; five grandsons Bradyn, Landyn, Jayce, Jaxon, and Jettson; niece Kaylie; two nephews Kyler and Chase and all of his brothers and sisters in Christ.
I will see you in just a little minute!
