Patricia Camille was born on October 25, 1960 to Kenneth and Laura Wilson in Hobbs, New Mexico.Pat graduated from Monterey High School and was a Texas Tech student. She also worked for Texas Tech in the procurement department where she was named employee of the year in 2013. She was instrumental in the music industry in Lubbock, bringing artists and music groups into this vicinity, particularly blues music as a club owner and live music aficionado. She was a poet, an amateur astronomer, gardener, and dog lover. She rescued beagles in particular, having loved and given homes to Monte, Scout, Athena, Lokey and lastly Snoopy. She was a free spirit and a gentle soul, loving unconditionally and passionately.Survivors include her father, Kenneth Wilson; mother, Laura June Hutchings and husband, Palmer; sister, Helena Crabtree and husband, Danny; stepbrother Dub Wilson, niece, Kacy Phares and husband, Kirk; great-niece, Addisyn Shayne Long; great-nephew, Ethan Phares, special aunt Shirley Keller, companion Mark Paden, and a host of family and friends.She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Wayne Wilson; step mother, Philia Wilson; nephew, Jeremiah Shane Crabtree, and grandparents, O.V. and Edith Henslee.

A dear friend has been lost in Pat's passing. I just found out a week ago a friend of my youth is gone from this earth. However, she is still alive in my memories as she has been through the years to us that knew her. As a fellow dog lover, we shared many fond moments in our youth with her troop of Beagles. She will be missed but shall sleep until the resurrection. May God's light shine brightly in her soul when she awakes from her restful sleep to enjoy being whole again, healthy and in her prime of life forever.

Thanks so much to everyone who posted here or came to Pat's service . She would have been thrilled at the outpouring of love to her family. We appreciate so much all of your prayers and concern for us, the beautiful flowers and gifts to Morris safe house. We will miss her terribly, but you have all eased our burden with your kindness, support and presence. We love you all. Helena Crabtree

My sincerest condolences to all of Pat's family and host of friends. She was a dearest friend and one of the most remarkable women I've been honored to know. Of her wit, intelligence, and strength, a characteristic I found most inspiring was Pat's true kindness and forgiving spirit. She loved unconditionally and with devotion few people ever witness. Pat blessed my life in so many ways. I will miss her terribly but know I will see her again someday to enjoy music, poetry, great conversation, and her engaging laugh.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Pat and I were fellow dog-lovers. I know her fur-babies are glad to have her in heaven with them now. You were a great friend and employee. You will be greatly missed by all.

I never had a time with Pat that was not filled with laughter. Her spirit was something that was admirable and contagious. It will stay with us until we see her again.

Pat was a very special person that I loved dearly. I am blessed to have known her for the time that I did. She was not only a great friend but a great co-worker as well. She will always have a special place in my heart. Our thoughts and prayers to Pats family and friends.

Pat's sensitivity allowed her to possess a unique vulnerability, amidst which she was easily wounded. And yet.... it allowed her to experience life at the edges, where others seldom venture, but where the thin air knows vibrant riches.

I loved you sweet smile and beautiful soul and the love you had for your dogs! I am glad we got a special last time together even though at the time I didn't know it.

May God bless you all! Pat was a great woman. I met her over 30 years ago, and instantly like her and her style! She had the greatest ruby vintage jewelry that she wore sometimes, and she looked so beautiful! She has suffered so much, and I know that she is not suffering anymore. I will miss her! So glad that I had the opportunity to know her.
