Our beautiful, fearless daughter, Ozzie Saint Claire Graham, passed away peacefully on the night of December 8, 2022, at 8:25 pm, surrounded with the love of her mom and dad. Ozzie came into this world on November 18, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas, and immediately became the center of our lives. As striking as her bright blonde hair, was her no-nonsense attitude and ability to capture the hearts of everyone around her. Lovingly called Zz, Oz, Crazy Train, Z, Cutie Pie of the Year (every year), and Goobie Girl, Ozzie loved spending time with her loved ones, eating puffs, zooming around the house, and showing us all how unimpressed she was by our attempts to make her laugh.

We feel blessed to have been able to celebrate her one perfect year of life with a beautiful party, where she was surrounded by family and friends. In just one year, Ozzie managed to make an impact on all who met her and on many who never will. We will miss her contagious toothy smile, sassy personality, unruly hair, and her always-perfect elephant imitation. Though our loss is tremendous, we are grateful to have known Ozzie and to have experienced the raw joy that she brought into our lives. We loved Ozzie fiercely, and she will remain our brightest light as we find comfort in her memory.

Ozzie is survived by her parents, Holland Herrin Ford and Philip Michael Graham; fur sisters, Basil Louise and Cherry Elizabeth; maternal grandparents, Cristin Ford (CC) and Gregory (Holly) Ford (G-Pop and Lolly); maternal great-grandparents, Jan Ford, Gay and Ron Herrin; paternal grandmother, Cindy Graham (Grammy); paternal great-grandparents, Marsha Graham and Ted (Darlene) Parson; aunts and uncle, Chandler Charles Ford, Halle Haven Ford, and Caitlin Paige Graham.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Michael Graham, paternal great-grandfather, David Graham, and maternal great-grandfather, Dan Ford.

A service to celebrate her short yet full life is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, at First United Methodist Church. The service will be followed by a time of fellowship with family and friends in the parlor. Our sincere condolences. We are deeply saddened and we grieve for your loss. We have never met but spent a long week in prayer about Ozzy asking for healing for her sickness. In the end I asked god why, and he answered that she had a purpose. She must have been the perfect child. Love to you all!
