Norma Veretto

The family of Norma Veretto will celebrate her life of 82 years at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. On August 26, 1939, Norma was born to Clarence and Norma Johnson in Lubbock, TX. She was raised by her loving stepfather, Floyd, and her mother Norma Lee Reynolds.  Norma graduated from Cooper High School.  She married her high school sweetheart, Don Veretto, on August 22, 1958.  Norma was a loving mother, and homemaker, devoted to her husband and children.  She loved being a grandmother.  She also loved being an artist, crafter, and gardener.  Most of all, Norma loved the Lord with all her heart.  She was a mighty prayer warrior for her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Don Veretto; their children, Kimmie (Joel) Lee, Ricky (Suzanne) Veretto, Randy (Wanda Purser) Veretto; grandchildren, Brandi (Rocko Gangelhoff) Veretto, Riley Veretto, Cassidy Veretto, Katie Lee, Jacob Veretto; great-grandchild, Amelia Veretto; sister, DeeAnna McNeely.

She was preceded in death by father, Clarence Johnson; mother, Norma Reynolds; stepfather, Floyd Reynolds.
