It is with a great deal of sorrow we share the passing of Norma Jean Foster. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Norma passed peacefully on January 6th, 2024, following a long battle with cancer. Norma was truly amazing in so many ways, so very unselfish and caring. She loved her family and friends dearly, always concerned for the welfare of others. The true lights of her life were her grandchildren, who she loved beyond compare.
Norma was born April 17th, 1955, to her mother and father, Louisa and Henry Bustillos in Lubbock. She worked at the Lubbock Police Department for 22 years and later was employed by Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert, and Moss Tax and Audit firm where she continued to work until her passing.
Norma possessed a true zest for life. She loved to travel, dine out, shop, and of course meet new people and family gatherings. She will be dearly missed by all.
Norma is survived by her husband Richard of 23 years; her beloved sons Marcus and Michael and Michael’s wife Brittany who was the daughter she never had: four grandchildren, MacKenzie, Blaze, Pailyn, and Peyton: two sisters Margie and Diana; three brothers Ismael, Rueben, and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
