Mary Juanita was born on June 11, 1936 to Hillary and Opal Collier in Kemp, Texas. On June 30, 2003, Nita married B. W. in Lubbock, Texas.Nita’s lasting legacy was one of love. She loved her family, her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved church, both Calvary Baptist of Lubbock and First Baptist of Lockney. She loved music, from her uncle Ernest Tubb, to good old Alan Jackson, to her favorite hymns. She loved teddy bears, carousels, millionaire pie, and her all-time favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. She loved roses, oriental lilies, and everything “pink”. But most of all, she loved her Lord Jesus.Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Huffman and husband, Ronnie of Lockney, Texas; son, Eugene Stout and his companion, Debra Ainley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Eric E. Stout and wife, Lindsay, Heath Huffman of Lubbock, Texas, Christopher R. Stout and wife, Summer; two granddaughters, Holly R. Moses and husband, Wayland, Ashley L. Burget and husband, Brad; four great-grandsons, Colton Moses, Dexter E. Stout, Desmond H. Stout, and Bennett E. Burget; three great-granddaughters, Caitlynn Moses, Jane N. Burget, and Nelon C. Stout; two sisters, Shirley McFaul and husband, Robert, Gloria Thomasson and husband, Alton; two brothers, Carroll and Gary Dean Collier. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, B. W. Smith, sister, Ruth Husky, brothers, Kenneth and James Collier.
