Eunice Juanita was born on December 11, 1924 to James and Susan Condra in Winters, Texas. Nita married the love of her life Marvin Condra on October 29th, 1945 in Tahoka, Texas. Nita was the second child, and the first girl, of a family of 16 children. She took pride in loving and being an active part in her siblings lives as she loved and mentored them as they grew up. Being on the move frequently for Marvin’s work, Nita found great joy in making a house a home for their family. They later welcomed their daughter Linda into the world and Nita devoted her time to being a stay at home mother and homemaker. She was an active member at Southcrest Baptist Church. She later began her career at JCPenny, where she was a supervisor for many years until retiring to spend her time caring for her husband throughout his last years. She then became “Nana” and was known as “Nana” to everyone she met, not only her family. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, her favorite place was in the mountains in Ruidoso. She devoted her life to taking care of others and making sure everyone felt welcomed and loved. Her grandsons and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know and be loved by her.
