The family of Naomi Ruth Denney will host a gathering of family and friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate her life of 89 years is scheduled at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at First Church of the Nazarene, followed by a graveside service at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Naomi Ruth Denney was born October 17, 1933, to James and Lillie Henbest Gibson in Cisco, TX. She married Glenn Denney on May 29, 1952, in Lubbock TX. Naomi was an avid member of the Church of the Nazarene and completed many work and mission trips around the world.

Naomi is survived by her sons, Billy Denney, and Robert Dale (Tammy) Denney; grandchildren Ben Denney, Caleb Denney, Ryan Denney,  Tyler (Erica) Denney, Tanner (Bailea) Denney, Ryan (Carolyn) Denney, Caleb (Sarah) Denney, Rachel (Marcus) Anderson, Ben (Arlene) Denney, Yael Denney; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Gibson; and sister, Jean Buchsbaum; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Gibson; husband Glenn Denney and a sister, Patsy Easterwood.
