Melburn Wayne was born on October 25, 1934 to Lewis and Flora Spradley Stamback in Sparks, Oklahoma. On September 15, 1956, Melburn married the love of his life, Verna Estene Plaster in San Jacinto, CA.Mel served in the United States Air Force. While serving in the Air Force Mel gave his life to Jesus Christ. He was licensed with the Pentecostal Church of God for 52 years. He Estene evangelized for years and pastored many churches. He earned an Honorary Doctorate of Theology. He held membership with the Ministerial Association. Throughout his life in the ministry he was instrumental in leading many to Christ. He was loved by many throughout the world, but his grand-children knew he was the greatest PaPa in the universe. According to his 4 daughters, he always preached on the platform and about the Bible.Survivors include his daughters, Lovelle Goretskie and husband, George, Renee Hargrove and husband, Charlie, Danakay Neff and husband, Joe, and Jan Simons; eight granddaughters, Jill Haymes and husband, David, Stacey Walton and husband, Chris, Diana Hargrove, Nicole Espinoza and husband, Eric, Andrea Tinney, BreAnna Bronfield and husband, Rene, Kendra Walker, Alissa Tinney; five grandsons, Stefan Goretskie and wife, Melissa, Geoffrey Goretskie and wife, Maria, Robert White and wife, Sylvia, C.J. Hargrove, and K.J. Morrill; 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Verna Estene Plaster, who died on July 21, 2004, brothers, David, Glen, and LeVoy Stamback.
