Mary Frances Parsons passed away on May 8, 2020 in Ft. Worth, Texas. We will celebrate her life of 82 years at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at City of Lubbock Cemetery. On 11/27/1952, she married Donald Edward Parsons. The couple moved to San Bernardino, Calif., in 1957. She was a homemaker until the late 60’s when she decided to go back to school to further her education. She went on to be become an accountant for San Bernardino County Mental Health Department. While employed for the San Bernardino County she became involved with their local union and worked her way up to becoming president of the Teamsters Local 1932 Union. She retired from the county in 1996. Following her retirement, she and Don opened P&H Cues and Darts which started mainly as a hobby for Don and lasted the next twenty years. Closing the business in 2013. They then moved to White Settlement, Texas, in 2015 to be closer to family. She enjoyed camping with the family, riding her motorcycle, swimming, traveling the country, spoiling her grandchildren, and dancing.She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Jimmy Don Parsons; two brothers, Byron Allen Kilpatrick and Wilburn Monroe Kilpatrick, Jr; a grandson, Jason Parsons; a great-granddaughter, Madison Parsons and their beloved boxers.Frances is survived by two sons, Terry Lynn Parsons (Claudia) of White Settlement, TX; Edward Wayne Parsons of Austin, TX; a daughter-in-law, Elsa Parsons of Riverside, CA; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister Patricia Speegle of Lubbock, TX; a brother, Timothy Kilpatrick of Enterprise, AL.
