Mary was just a very sweet and kind person. She always greeted me with a smile and a hug. She had a welcoming soul and would quickly offer a meal or a place to stay. I always got a kick out of her asking me to bring rabbits back from hunting. She would call me her adopted son. I loved her like family because she was. I feel very fortunate to have known her for so many years. Lord may we celebrate this angels life and all of the joy she has brought to this world.

What words can be said to bring comfort at a time like this? What actions can be taken to create change to ensure such tragedies do not happen again? Undoubtedly many of us are feeling angry, hurt, sad and confused. The only way I know hot to process such grief, personally, is to remember you and honor your memory. I will be forever grateful that you were always around for get togethers, family reunions, parties, and sometimes at my family’s house to visit. I will cherish the last time we saw each other, at Saul’s graduation at Tech, where we sat together and laughed. It is how I will always remember you, my dear Aunt. Many moments of my childhood, and young adulthood, are full of fond memories of you, your laughter and some New Years Eve bañuelos. You always carried a certain grace about you that will certainly be missed. Overall, your presence here on earth shall be missed, but the remainder of us will help to keep your memory alive. My deepest condolences to the cousins Balderas, my mother and my aunts. RIP Aunt Mary.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I will miss her so very much Thank you my dear son inlaw Tim for giving me the opportunity to meet your mother. My deepest condolences Marie
