Margaret Wilhite was born on May 1, 1933 to Lee and Virgie Rucker in Slaton Texas. She worked as a bookkeeper for Lubbock Wrecker Service for 31 years retiring in October 2000. Margaret married Ray Wilhite on December 16, 1950, in Clovis, New Mexico. Ray and Margaret were married for 63 years before his passing on their 63rd wedding anniversary Dec 16, 2013.
Survivors include their children Barbara Ann Patterson and husband Tommy, Terry Ray Wilhite and wife Kathye, and Belinda Wilhite Jackson and husband, Bradford; grandchildren, Kelly Franklin, Jamie Poe and Husband Jason, TJ Wilhite, Tasha Pulliam and husband Bobby, Brad Jackson; great-grandchildren Brian Webster, Brandon Webster, Charity Wilhite Philips, Kyndale Poe, Hunter Poe, and Ashton Pulliam. She is also survived by her brother Sonny Rucker.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Ray Wilhite who passed Dec 16, 2013; her son, Timmy Lynn Wilhite who passed April 25, 1985; her grandson, Jacob Wilhite who died in March 2014; her father and mother and three sisters.
