Maci Nicole Hamilton gained her wings on July 27, 2018 at 23 years old. She was born November 3, 1994 to the proud parents, Audrey Lance Hamilton and Tonja Jill Cook Hamilton. Maci grew up in Wolfforth Texas. She had one sister, Mandy Lace Hamilton. They were inseparable from the beginning.

Maci was a cheerleader for Frenship High School where she graduated in December 2012. After high school, she began following her passion. She attended South Plains College Cosmetology and graduated in 2014.

She was blessed with her daughter, Kambri Sky Cameron, on October 7, 2014. She worked at various salons until finally finding her home at Salon Sculpt. Maci loved what she did and always knew exactly what to say to someone to elicit a smile.

On her days off, she spent her time with her daughter and her family. She was so excited to become an aunt on February 10, 2018 to Laci Lane Bearden. Her family meant the world to her.

One of her favorite things to do was to take Kambri to the park for the day. She loved anything that involved water and sunshine.

She was truly the sunshine in a lot of our lives and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her parents, Lance and Tonja Hamilton; daughter, Kambri Sky Cameron; sister, Mandy Lace Hamilton; paternal grandparents, Norman and Donna Kay Hamilton; maternal grandmother, Jeanette Morris; niece, Laci Lane Bearden; uncle and aunts, Candy Hamilton, Kim Duff and husband, Michael; Crista Goodnough and husband, Chris; and Jake Clinton and wife, Tina; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gerald Cook; and aunt, Darla Jean Noey.

A beautiful young lady. Life is too short and we never understand why. Breaks my heart to see young people leave this earth before Mom and Dad. I speak from being a Mom that lost a son . It hurts much because we love our child so much. I am so sorry. God was my strength and comfort through it all, 10 years this year. I pray that He is or will be yours also.

  2. My heart is broken for the family. I can’t imagine the grief you are experiencing. You are in my prayers.

  15. So very sorry for the tragic loss of your precious Maci.
It breaks our hearts when death separates us from our loved ones. We are reminded in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8: that there is One who sees sorrow “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces……….”
God will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again
.John 5:28,29 promises : ” Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, .”
God has promised to reunite us with our loved ones and to do away with our greatest enemy death. Please visit
    most sincerely
