The family of Ola DeLois “Lois” Karr will celebrate her life of 93 years with a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. She married William Robert “Bob” Karr on April 18, 1957, in Lubbock.In the early 1970’s she began working with concert and event promoters selling tickets and organizing staff at the Lubbock Auditorium /Coliseum and later at the Civic Center. She met many entertainers and interesting people and always enjoyed going to work. Her hobbies included ceramics and jewelry making. Her joy came from her service to family and friends and traveling.Survivors include her daughter, Kellye (Richard) Bouldin; grandchildren, Brooke (Graig) Francis, and Blake Bouldin; great-grandchildren, Ava, Emma, and Olivia; and siblings, James Huckabee, Wanda Williams, and Nell Eubanks.She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Karr; her parents; sisters, Naomi Johnston, and Gertrude Brand; and a brother, Ernest Huckabee.
