Laverne Kirby

Laverne was born on October 23, 1931 to Marion and Carolyn Speed in Collins, Mississippi. On November 8, 1973, Laverne married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Kirby in Lovington, New Mexico.Survivors include her husband, “Dick” Kirby, their children, Clifford Attaway and wife, Katherine, Richard Attaway and wife, Angie, Janet Harmon and husband, Skip, and Lee Kirby and wife, Charlotte, 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Norwood Speed; and half sister Mary Kaough; She was preceded in death by her parents; and Sister Louise DeLille.Memorial contributions are welcome and the family suggests, the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate or charity of your choosing.
