Larry and Cynthia moved to Irving and a transfer became available to Decatur, where their son, Peyton, was born on March 16, 1977.
Larry was very involved in Chamber activities, and held various positions in Lions Club Rotary Club. He held manager positions in De Soto, Corsicana, Mesquite, Cameron, Temple/Belton, Tyler, Commerce, and Greenville. Upon retirement, Larry and Cynthia moved to Lubbock in 2006 to be close to their son Peyton and where their granddaughter Marley Anne was born in 2009.
Having Peyton, his wife Amy, and Marley close by provided many holidays and celebrations spent together. Lubbock was definitely home.
