Larry Leslie Fawver passed away on July 13, 2019. A time of fellowship and remembrance is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 67 years at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Southcrest Baptist Church. Larry Leslie Fawver was born on April 17, 1952, to Thomas “Les” and Jonelle Fawver in Floydada, Texas. Larry married Elida “Ellie” Camacho Fawver on July 31, 2007, in Lubbock, Texas. He dreamed of driving a Big Rig from the time he was a child. Larry followed that dream and drove a truck for 45 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. And will be dearly missed. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1976.
Survivors include his wife, Elida “Ellie” Fawver; children, Cassy Mahan and husband, Kevin; Ty Fawver and wife, Veronica; Kyle Fawver and wife, Lilly; Genia Reyes and husband, Reuben; daughter, Ginger Alonzo and husband, Felix; grandchildren, Blake Fawver, Kolten Mahan, Ashlei Mahan, Carly Jo Fawver, Trey Leslie Fawver, Tyke Fawver, Jordan Fawver, Alize Fawver, Nevaeh Fawver, Isabella Fawver, Kylee Fawver, Killian Fawver, Ruben Reyes, Victoria Reyes, Vallory Reyes, Rubin “Bin” Reyes, Lilly Alonzo, Viviana Alonzo, Joshua Alonzo; sister, Eileen Francis and husband, Bruce; and sister, Gayle Ferguson and husband, Robert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas “Les” and Jonelle Fawver.
