Ken Cowling was more than my lifelong friend Byron's father, he was also my mentor and friend. I used to drop into Cowlings Furniture every week just have coffee with Ken and talk about pretty much everything. Ken was a great listener and easy to talk to. When I lost my older brother in 1980 Ken helped me understand how to deal with it and he guided me forward during a very difficult time. His words and care have been a big part of my life. He was a true gentleman and a dear and caring friend. I am privileged to have known Ken and my life is better for it. He will be missed by all. RIP my friend.

I was Blessed to have known Ken for almost 20 years. He was a kind soul who cared deeply for his children and even more so for his grandchildren. He always checked in on me, asked me if I needed anything and would be the first one there to help if I did. Praying for the Cowling family as they say goodbye to their Dad and G-Dad but have peace knowing he is now in the kingdom of Heaven with our Lord and Savior. He will truly be missed by everyone he knew.
