Jimmie Edward Arnold was born July 9, 1937, to Jessie Edward and Jettie Lee (Grice) Arnold in Spur, TX. Jimmie married the love of his life, Laura Turbeville in Lubbock, Texas. Jimmie was a man of simple pleasures who found solace in working the land. With unwavering dedication, he dedicated his life to agriculture, embodying the true spirit of a hardworking farmer. His passion and commitment were evident in every crop he nurtured and every harvest he reaped. Jimmie was also a committed Mason and Shriner. He was a 32nd degree Mason, belonging to both the York rite and the Scottish rite. He was also a member of Suez Shrine Temple in San Angelo and Masonic Blue Lodge 1023 in Spur for 50 years.
Survivors include his children, LaFonda Fink, Jim Arnold and wife, Dora, Larry Arnold and wife, Zhou, and Loni Arnold; grandchildren, Justin Feemster, B. J. Fink and wife, Lindsey, Jade Oliver, Jim L. Arnold III, Lorie Chance and husband, Duncan, Austin, Jessica and Evie Kolk , and Kevin Arnold, and Nicole Rogers; great-grandchildren, Kayden, and Sean Feemster, Logan, and Colin Fink, Evelyn, Elizabeth, and Eliana Chance, Ashton, Samara, and Maddox Hayes, Aurora Arnold; siblings, Betty and husband Quinn Beadle, Perla Wilson, Donnie Arnold, Alice and husband Lee Kidd,
He was preceded by his wife, Laura Arnold; and his parents.
