He married Krystal Haltom on June 20, 2014 at the “The Bay House” in Beach City, Texas.Jeff grew up living in Lubbock, Texas where he was a member of the 1988 Coronado HS graduating class. He also lived in Meadow, Texas where he was a proud volunteer firefighter. Later, he moved to Lubbock where for the last 15 years he has been a devoted employee with Mueller, Inc. Jeff loved to golf with his boys and best friends as often as he could. Jeff and his wife, Krystal, had a lot of fun teaching their young sons how to follow in their footsteps–literally.On weekends, Jeff, his family, and friends would spend time at lake Allen Henry on their boat. When not vacationing at the lake, he enjoyed traveling to the beach and seeing family in Central and East Texas.Jeff was known to give the best bear hugs, always put his family first, loved spending time with his extended family, and was a devoted husband, father, and friend.Jeff is survived by his father, Earl Melton; wife, Krystal Melton; children, Cayden Melton (girlfriend, Preshleigh Parker), Trenton Haltom, and Cole Haltom (soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Madalynn Keen).He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Melton Taylor.
