As a graduate of Dunbar High School where her husband was a teacher for many years, Ms Henry was also a presence in some of our school related activities to advise and assist, as well as being a positive role model for many young ladies. Mr. and Mrs Henry were inseparable and were often seen together enjoying events in and around Lubbock. I offer my sincere prayers and condolences to the family.

When I joined the team of nurses on the coronary care unit at Methodist, I had just left the OR and had to learn a different way to care for our patients. Janice was my rock. She was always so gentle and caring. When we were short staffed, she stepped up and took an extra patient. Her patients loved her. So did the staff. I loved her smile, sense of humor and her work ethic. Heaven is fortunate to have her. I will see her again one day and give her a huge hug. God bless and keep you Janice. You were one of a kind. ❤️ JA
