Ivor was born on April 14, 1939 to William and Selina Tomlinson Smith in Kingston Upon Hull, England. On March 16, 1968, Ivor married the love of his life, Rosemary Pentheny in Media, Pennsylvania. He graduated from The Royal College of Advanced Technology, Salford, England, in September 1962. He moved to the United States, where he enjoyed a long career in engineering working primarily in the oil and gas industry. He finished his career at Jensen Mixers in Tulsa, OK where he retired in 2011. He enjoyed golf, fishing, trips to the beach and England, and time spent with his family. He had a love for technology and was never far from his Ipad or Alexa. Ivor passed after a very brief battle with cancer. The family would like to thank the staff at Covenant Hospital for their support and care during this time.Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Smith; their daughters, Christine Mathews and husband, George Mathews, and Sheila Beam and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Alexander Ivor, Emery Bayless, and Isabelle Anne Mathews; Smith Albert and Riley Elizabeth Beam, sister-in-law Marie Therese Cardwell, and numerous nieces and nephews, including Michelle Hawkins and Paul Beauchamp.He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ewart and Selina Smith; siblings, Ewart Smith and Moira Smith Beauchamp.
