The earthly friendship my husband and I shared with Horace and Val extended for 46 years. Our heavenly friendship will continue into eternity. What a blessing their friendship has meant.

Horace was more than just our friend, he was a giant of a man and our hero. We spent hours talking about life; about family, and politics, about years as a Lubbock Fire Fighter, but our favorite topic was talking about Jesus and His plan and purpose for our lives to bring Him glory. (Oh, did I mention how much he loved desserts? His precious Val was the queen of making sweets.) It has been and honor and a privilege to have known Horace Anglin. He was truly a kind man who lived a life of integrity. He was a praying man, who trusted God for all things.
Joe & Judy Bryant left a message on August 14, 2022:

He investigated the Underwood fire for over two years and recommended changes to improve the safety for fireman in similar conditions. These are only a small sample of safety measurers Horace helped improve
