GennieB Morris passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, surrounded by her kids after a lengthy stay in the hospital. GennieB was born on December 3rd, 1931, to Martin and Dora Keene in Ivanhoe, Tx. She graduated from Bonham High School in 1949.

On July 2, 1954, GennieB married the love of her life, Eugene Morris, in Clovis, NM. She was a homemaker and loved her plants, puzzles and singing.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Morris and wife Terry of Levelland, and Michael Morris of Lubbock; daughter, Donna Morris of Lubbock; grandchildren, Kevin Hood and wife Lasondra of Idalou, Jacey Smith, and husband Dakota of Levelland; seven great-grandchildren, Paris Hood of Lubbock, Jayslyn Holland of Idalou, Yasmine Holland of Idalou, Jordan Holland of Dallas, Avry Hood and Kamyrn Hood of Idalou, and Steelie Smith of Levelland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Plumtree, and three brothers, Wade, Arthur, and Robert Keene.

No services will be held. The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
