Freddie Mae Oakley left a message on February 11, 2020:
Freddye Jeanne - as we, the family , all called her - was a remarkable cousin - since she was an only child, her boys had no aunts or uncles on her side of the family - so even though we were first cousins her boys called me "|Aunt Freddie", and my 3 children called her "Aunt Freddye". They thought that was a great deed. We grew up close together in Kermit, Texas, two blocks apart. Went to Kermit High School and graduated there. As we became adults and went our own way, and the years passed, we became closer as we had our children. They were living in Lubbock and we were living in Jal, N.M. - - we visited often and our children became real "cousins". |We shared many happy times together. We will miss her dearly- We cannot feel life's losses without first feeling the blessings of it's fullness. Memories of love and friendship are treasures to carry with you always.
