Everly Blake Havens. An absolute gift. The light of a lifetime. Everly was full of life and joy. She was fun and funny and loved to laugh. Evy delighted in the simplest things – bubbles, buckles, microwaves, babies, chips and dip-dip, and making her sister, Jaidyn, laugh. In fact, most days she could be found following Jaidyn around, a cup of goldfish in hand, on the prowl for a new accessory to add to her person.
Evy was the sweetest giver of love. She shared her light and life in the most out-of-this-world way. She hugged big, laughed big, smiled big, sang big, and loved so big. Evy was brave. She was resilient. Her life was the glory and goodness of God on full display. He was lifted high in her waving “HI” at every stranger and He was lifted high in every kiss she gave her dad. He was lifted high in her “wheels on the bus” songs and in her aggressively helpful nature with friends.
She is cherished deeply, held in the most beautiful of memories – giggling and twirling, loved beyond measure by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
The name Everly means “a life of purpose.” Our human plans could never have known the way Evy’s life would glorify the name of Jesus and have purpose far beyond our understanding.
She is survived by her sister Jaidyn Havens, parents, Andrew and Jaimie Havens, her grandparents David and Carrie Hayslip and Warren and Stacy Havens, and by her aunts and uncles – Hallie, Camille, Chris, Cyle, Kit, Evan, Kelsey, Jordan, Erica, Manda, Sam, Morgan, Caleb, Summer, Matt, Lauren, CJ, Maddie, Regan, Allanah, Jack, Kiana, and Ben; as well as cousins – Dawson, Caden, Kolie, Scout, Salem, Beau, Charleigh, Zeke, Ellie, Abigail, Levi, Foster, Laney, Maggie, Calloway, Zyler, Owen, Nora, Witney; and countless others who love her.
