Eva Brito Duran Zarazua passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on October 22, 1949, in Stanton, TX. She retired from driving for many forms of transportation which include, city buses, 18 wheelers, and town cars. She attended the Cowboy Church of the South Plains. Eva was known for her love of bingo and shopping, finding pleasure in the simple things in life. Her kind spirit and warm smile touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Eva was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family, finding joy in the precious moments spent with loved ones.
Eva will be dearly missed by her husband, Thomas Zarazua; daughter Vanessa Duran, biological children, Mark Holguin and Rebecca (Todd) Kasik; her grandchildren, Lauren (Matt) Dennings, Valarie (Andreque) Rodriquez, Sarah Brito, Ryan Brito, Erin Brito; and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Noe (Sylvia) Brito, sister, JoAnn Camarena; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other cherished relatives and friends.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Brito and Amelia Gaitan; son, Ronald “Ronnie” Brito, and a brother, Raymond “Ray” Brito, Jr.
