Eugenia Martin passed away on August 28, 2019. A time of fellowship and remembrance is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 84 years at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 30, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.Eugenia was born on September 3, 1934 to Grady and Vera (Jones) McCullough in DeKalb, TX. She graduated from Lubbock High School. Eugenia married Weldon Wayne Martin on September 3, 1957 in Lubbock. Eugenia was a homemaker and caring for her husband, children and grandchildren was her calling in life. She was a member of LakeRidge United Methodist Church.Survivors include her daughter, Debra Ann Bowen of Lubbock; son, Grady Weldon Martin and wife, Tammie of Lubbock; grandchildren, Weldon Ryan Martin, John Barber and wife, Tiffany; Celeste Sowder and husband, Eric; Alicia Wampler and husband, Keegan; and Tyler Bowen; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Geneva Hawkins.
